ℹ️ How this works

The calculator uses industry-standard formulas:

For Buy (Long) positions:
Profit = (Close Price - Open Price) × Trade Size × 100,000

For Sell (Short) positions:
Profit = (Open Price - Close Price) × Trade Size × 100,000

Pip Calculation:
For JPY pairs: Pip Value = 0.01
For other pairs: Pip Value = 0.0001

Note: Results are converted to your deposit currency using current exchange rates.

Frequently Asked Questions
A "Pip" (Percentage in Point) is the smallest standard price move a currency pair can make. For most pairs, it is the fourth decimal place (e.g., moving from 1.1054 to 1.1055). For JPY pairs, it is the second decimal place.
The monetary value of a pip depends entirely on your trade (lot) size. If your account is in USD and you are trading a pair where USD is the quote currency (like EUR/USD), a 1-pip move on a standard lot (1.0) is exactly $10. On a mini lot (0.1), it is $1.
If you trade a pair like EUR/GBP, your profits are initially realized in British Pounds. If your trading account is in US Dollars, our calculator automatically references simulated exchange rates to convert that GBP profit back into your native USD balance.
